According to research from online dating site Plenty of Fish, the ideal woman is someone who is young, makes at least $50,000 a year and drinks three times a week.
The ideal man is athletic, wants kids and makes over $100,000 a year.
Traits like these will net you more messages sent to your online dating profile.
Houston relationship therapist Dr. Viviana Coles says, “It’s just a template. It’s just a place to work off of, and I think it is really useful because then people can start to say, ‘This is what I need to present, and this is what I need to hold off on.'”
Plenty of Fish says if you’re over 33 years old, don’t like to drink and don’t want kids, then you aren’t likely to get as many messages.
